Managing Acceptable Use Policies: overview

The RM Management Console provides a number of default Acceptable Use Policies (AUP) you can import to get you started, or you can create or import your own AUP.

In order to have an AUP display to users, you must select security groups to be associated with the AUP, and how often the policy must be displayed to the members of the group. You can create different AUPs for different groups of users, and choose different display frequencies.

You can rename an AUP, or change its description. You can also export an AUP for safe-keeping, or for future use.

When you create an AUP, it is enabled by default. You can disable an AUP until you are ready for it to be displayed to group members.
